On behalf of Coiste Iomana na n-Og , I would like to wish all the competing clubs and the host clubs every success with the Toddie Byrne and Justin Cheevers competitions for 2013. There has been a few inquires and our souvenir programme will answer most with the rules of the competitions etc in the programme.

There have been a few more which we will inform the Juvenile Hurling club delegates and U 14 club representatives at the launch of the Programme in Cheevers Craughwell.

On Thursday the 5th of April at 9pm sharp.

Clubs are reminded to have a €60 cheque on the night for receipt of the programmes.

A few brief points

In relation to discipline.

  • A straight red card offence , the player is suspended and is unable to take further part in the competition
  • On receipt of two yellow cards, the player is able to take part in the next game.
  • A second offence where a player receives a second penalty of two yellow cards , that player is suspended and can take no further part in the competition.
  • If a mentor is asked to leave the field , the mentor is suspended from the competition and will be reported in the match report to the cccc

The CCCC are in situ for the duration of the competition.
