Junior C's aim to make it two from two

posted 3 Jun 2014, 12:05 by Garret Byrne
Tommy Hanlons men will travel to Cregg to take on the home side of Annaghdown, in this Junior C Championship match (Weds 4th June in Cregg 7pm).

After last weeks solid win over Athenry, the Seasiders will be hoping for another good performance and another win. But they can expect a harder challenge against the Corribsiders, and we will probably have to improve on last week if we are to take the spoils tomorrow.

Annaghdown lost their opener to a very good and fancied Liam Mellows side, but that one point defeat will make them more than determined at home to take an opening win and get their show on the road.

A close tight game is expected with little to separate the sides on the final whistle.

Group matches to date:
Kinvara 4-22 beat Athenry 1-6
Liam Mellows 3-16 beat Annaghdown 4-12
Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry 1-15 beat Sarsfields 0-12
