Kinvara v Mullagh...preview

Kinvara play Mullagh in their third game in the senior hurling league this Sunday 20th March in Mullagh at 2PM.
After having two losses in the opening games, Kinvara's management will be hoping for an improved performance this time around. They will be concentrating efforts more so on the defence and so try and tighten up the lines. In saying that, the forwards must too takes their chances when they come. With so many players missing, it really is a case of being stretched, but credit to all players. They battled to the end in both games so far, and even against Tommie Larkins, credit must be given for their never say die attitude, although the result was beyond them.
An update on players show Shane Kavanagh (inj), Ger Mahon (inj), Dara Smith (inj), Steve Moylan (inj), Colm Callanan (county duty), Shane Quinn (abroad), Cathal Connolly (abroad), Gerry Wynne (abroad), Padraig Moylan (abroad) ...all unavailable.
Manager Brian O'Driscoll will be hoping that Jonathon Kavanagh and Mark Kavanagh are fit to play and strenghten his options.
Mullagh have played one game so far, when they drew with Gort on 1-11 to 0-14. They will be hoping to win this one, especially as they have home advantage.
I'd expect a closer game here this week between the two sides, and I'll go with a home win for the East Galway side. Maybe 6 points.
