Leinster Final in Croke Park

posted 10 Jul 2013, 14:13 by Unknown user
A packed bus of over 53 local supporters travelled last Sunday up to Croke Park to see Galway play Dublin in the Leinster Senior Hurling Final.

It was a bus full of excitement and anticipation on the way up, but however the final didnt go according to plan for Galway (whatever the plan was?).

Clubman Shane Kavanagh had a solid game at centreback, and probably one of the few Galway hurlers to escape without any reputation damage. Our other clubman Colm Callanan was badly missed in goals (we are biased!), and we only hope that he back between the posts for the next game.

Anyways, it was great to see them on the field in Croke Park, and it was also great to see kids being brought up on the bus by their parents. Some of the kids were experiencing Croke Park for the first time, and hopefully not their last, and hopefully we'll have better days up there.
