Slow start but U21s prove too strong for Mullagh

U21 B Hurling Championship Group
in Ballindereen, Sunday 15th March 2015

Here is our Facebook live Newsfeed for todays earlier must with game. Winner will be advancing to the quarter-finals (or semi-finals if get a bye).

"Teams are out on the pitch here in Ballindereen for this do or die U21 B Hurling Championship match between Kinvara and Mullagh. 
Winner takes all. Throw-in in a couple of minutes.

2 mins gone:Mullagh 0-1, Kinvara 0-0. From a free from halfway.
7 mins gone: Mullagh 1-1, Kinvara 0-1. 
10 mins gone: Mullagh 1-1, Kinvara 0-3.
25 mins gone: Kinvara 1-7, Mullagh 1-3. Impressive points from Nessan O'H, another from Tommie Kav, while Rory Cullinane got the goal (his reward for cancelling his 21st last night!). It was a superb goal that will be talked about in years to come. Did Rory solo from over 100 yards out???!!!
27 mins gone: Kinvara 1-7, Mullagh 1-4. They score from a free. Our backs under pressure the whole time.

Halftime: Kinvara 1-8, Mullagh 1-4.
The east Galway side started brightly and opened up a 1-1 to 0-1 lead after 7 mins. But Kinvara settled after and outscored for the remainder by 1-7 to 0-3.
Mullagh are lively and have dangerous forwards. 
Kinvara need some key players to get more into this game. If not , we be in trouble.

23 mins left: Kinvara 1-10, Mullagh 1-4. Good start to second half for Kinvara. Cant rest though, as must try push on as Mullagh will try hard to get back into this.
15 mins left: Kinvara 1-14, Mullagh 1-4. Kinvara keep momentum, and are holding Mullagh scoreless in second half so far.
GOAL!
12 mins left......Kinvara 2-14, Mullagh 1-4. Corner of the net by Conor Whelan. Kinvara just need to keep discipline now and steady the ship home.
5 mins left: Kinvara 2-19, Mullagh 2-6.

All over: Kinvara 2-22, Mullagh 2-6. 
Well done lads. We now in the last 6 teams. The matches will be tougher from here on it. 
But, two games, two wins, and we now in county quarter-final (and possibly semi-final, depending on the draw).
