Kinvara minor hurlers travel into Tonabrucky this evening to play Rahoon-Salthill in a must win game in order to guarantee us a second place in the group and a quarter-final spot. A defeat could leave us sweating it out as we wait for other results to go our way.

Kinvara v Rahoon-Salthill, in Tonabrucky Sunday 29th July 7:30pm

The following is from the galway hurling website:

The PIER HEAD Minor B Hurling Championship is turning out to be a real cracker with a very exciting finish to the group stages in store.

(This years B Championship see two groups of 7 teams each. Therefore each side plays 6 matches, and the top 4 in each group qualify for the quarter-finals. The quarters will see the teams cross play....A1 v B4, etc...)

GROUP A
Games this weekend Sunday 29th July:
Rahoon/Salthill v Kinvara
Mullagh v Ahascragh-Fohenagh

This group is proving real exciting as we approach the home straight. At present, only Oranmore-Maree are qualified, with four sides battling it out for the remaining 3 spots.
Kinvara travel to Tonabrocky to take on Rahoon-Salthill on Sunday evening. The south Galway lads must win this to ensure qualification, whereas a defeat could possibly leave them short at the end. Likewise for Rahoon-Salthill, a defeat for them also would leave them sweating as they await for favourable results in the remaining games.
Ahascragh-Fohenagh will be looking to take the points from Mullagh in their match, but with Cois Fharraige still with two matches to play, there is no doubt that this group will not be decided until the final round.

Other remaining matches:
Ballindereen v Cois Fharraige
