Senior hurlers play Saturday in County Cup

Kinvara v Craughwell, in Ballindereen Sat 7th May at 4.30pm

That is the place to be to support out senior hurlers this coming Saturday as they aim to get their season back on track. They will be hoping to put behind them the disappointing performance in the previous game v Beagh, while Craughwell will be aiming to build on their opening victory v Gort.
Paul Keane is available to play again after suspension, however Ger Mahon is still out injured, while Stevie Moylan is still not 100% fit. The extra couple of weeks should also benefit Shane Kavanagh, who is just back from injury.
Expect a tighter closer game this time around in Ballindereen, where we hope the Kinvara backs can put the shackles on the Craughwell forwards. It would be dangerous to assume that they are dependent on Niall Healy for their scores, as all forwards can be dangerous. However, if our backs can control him and reduce the foul count, then we could be in with a shout.
On the other side, our forwards will have to be clinical and lively, and take their scoring chances as they come.
Craughwell will be on a high after beating Gort, and most neutrals would back them to defeat Kinvara easily, seeing how we got well beaten against Beagh. However, this can often be when we are dangerous, or should I say, unpredictable!
Expect a tight game, with some positional changes on the side.
And remember...the unpredictable seasiders!
