U13 B Hurling Championship Semi-Final
Kinvara v Tommie Larkins, Thurs 21st August in Craughwell 7:30pm

All roads lead to Craughwell tomorrow evening as Kinvara GAA bid for their first county championship final in four years. The Kinvara squad doing the bidding are our talented and hard-working U13 hurlers, who must first overcome the challenge of Tommie Larkins if they are to reach their target.

Although our lads remained undefeated from their 7 group matches, they have not come without their scares as only a puck of a ball separated us from our opponents in 5 of those matches. The margins are small in these championships, and this will definitely be the case tomorrow evening.

Kinvara have a few injury concerns ahead of this crunch tie, with already midfielder Danny Travis ruled out, while we currently have four more players away on holidays. In saying that, this was always a panel effort from day one, and there will still be plenty of competition for those vacant places.

Tommie Larkins are always a formidable outfit and one thing we can be sure is that they will be fully committed and play to their max. They impressed in their group matches, and any match they lost was not by much at all.

When we met them in the group stages, we had the advantage of playing at home, something that can be worth several points. They pushed us the whole way, and the match resulted in just the one score between us.

A cracking match is in store, and we urge you all to come along and support.
