Under 13 B Hurling Championship

The groups and grades for the OCEAN HYGIENE U13 Hurling Championships were drawn during the week.
Kinvara will compete in the B Grade, and are grouped alongside local neighbours and rivals Gort and Ballindereen. Also in the group are east Galway sides Mullagh and Kiltormer, while Gaeltacht side Moycullen complete the listing.
This will be a tough assignment for our U13s, but if they continue their good work and effort, then they would be well positioned to advance to the knockout stages, and whatever after that.

The full Groups and Grades are as follows:

- two groups (one with 6 sides, other with 7 sides)
- top 4 sides through to quarter-finals
- quarter-final draw is A1 v B4, A2 v B3, A3 v B2, A4 v B1.

Group A:
Athenry, Loughrea, Salthill-Knocknacarra, Kilconieron, Oranmore-Maree, Portumna, Clarinbridge.

Group B:
Kilnadeema-Leitrim, Craughwell, Turloughmore, Castlegar, Ballygar, Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry.

- four groups (3 x 5 sides, 1 x 6 sides)
- Top 2 qualify for quarter-finals
- quarter-final draw is A1 v C2, A2 v C1, B1 v D2, B2 v D1.

Group A:
Moycullen, Mullagh, Kinvara, Ballindereen, Kiltormer, Gort.

Group B:
St. Thomas, Cappataggle, Sarsfields, Liam Mellows, Ahascragh-Fohenagh.

Group C:
Mountbellew-Moylough, Tommie Larkins, Padraig Pearses, Ardrahan, Carnmore.

Group D:
Michael Cusacks, Rahoon-Newcastle, Meelick-Eyrecourt, Killimor, Killimordaly.

- one group of 8 sides
- top four sides to semi-finals
