Kinvara Junior B's had just 3 points to spare over a spirited Clarinbridge side, who failed to score any points in the second half, but did manage to strike for yes, 5 goals. It was a bizzare sort of game where Kinvara raised amost 3 times as many white flags as their opponents, but the ease of Clarinbridge to score goals in the second half made for a very nervous finish for Kinvara.

The exchanges in the first half were evenly matched, with both sides guilty of their share of wides. But with backs on top in that period, it was hard earned scores that were got. The score at the interval was Kinvara 1-8, Clarinbridge 0-7.

And so to the second half. Every time Kinvara stretched their lead, it was the nod for Clarinbridge to score a goal. And this just didnt happen once - it happened 5 times! Credit to Kinvara they still slotted over the points with 11 white flags raised during the second half. This ability to shoot the points was the winning of the match, but no doubt the players themselves and the management will have some concerns over the amount of green flags raised by the umpire in the second half.
