Junior C Hurling Championship
Weds 4th June 2014 in Cregg.

Kinvara Junior C's made it two from two in this hard fought win at Cregg. It was level at halftime but the Kinvara fitness again stood out as we drove on for a 9 point win.

Here is the news feed from our facebook page as it happened...

Half-time: Kinvara 1-3 level Annaghdown 0-6. Little to separate the two sides. Kinvara will have the slight breeze in the second half, but that itself wont decide this match, All to play for here in Cregg.

15 mins left: Kinvara 1-8 to Annaghdown 0-7. And Frankie Quinn stands over another free and out the field.......and straight over the bar. Score now Kinvara 1-9 to 0-7. Still plenty of time left for Annaghdown to come back. Kinvara will have to finish strongly now.

2 mins left......Kinvara 1-15 lead Ananghdown 0-9. Nearly of the verge of another great Junior C win.

Final score here in Cregg in the Junior C Hurling Championship, and it finished Kinvara the victors on a scoreline of 1-15 to Annaghdown 0-9.
Well done lads for a very important win on the road. Its is great to see 23 lads togged. Especially fair play to those lads John and Frankie who travelled from the east coast for this match - great committment. Thanks to Annaghdown for hosting the match and we wish them the best in the rest of the campaign.
