Second senior league win for Kinvara

Kinvara 2-15, Sarsfields 0-17

The Kinvara senior hurlers won their second Senior Hurling League tie last Sunday in Kinvara against Sarsfields. With both sides missing a few key players each, it was still a good competitive match with some nice scores and hurling on both sides.
In the end it was the couple of goals by Conor Kavanagh that made the difference, with Sarsfields also relying much on the free-taking skills of Kerril Wade.
Still Kinvara will be happy with the progress being made, although one would hope that the free-count against them could be reduced and also perhaps more efficiency up front as several good scoring chances were missed.
